Convenience and Security: Attitudes About Electoral Fraud and Election Reforms

Please make plans to join us Monday November 7, 2016, for our next installment of Cafe Scientifique. We will be featuring Dr. Lisa Bryant, an Assistant Professor, from the Department of Political Science at Fresno State.  Questions of electoral integrity have dominated election science studies since 2000, but have moved into the spolight during the 2016 election.  Policy makers and election adminstrators struggle to improve the efficiency of elections, while protecting the system from fraud.  This talk will explore voters’ views on election fraud, election reforms, and how elections are run in the U.S.  This promises to be an interesting and timely discussion the day before our next election.  Come early for dinner and the talk starts promptly at 7:00 PM

Dr. Bryant is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Fresno State whose interests involve a wide number of subfields within political science including political behavior/voter behavior, campaigns and elections, election administration, public opinion, the media, political psychology, state politics, gender politics, and political methodology, focusing on experimental and survey research methods.
